Find Out If Data Entry Work From Home Jobs Are Legit Or
Scams
If You are looking for data entry work from home jobs
then you have to find out if you are not being scammed.
One of the most common forms of work from home jobs is data entry. The
main reason for this is that all one needs for data entry is an internet connection and a computer, with a keyboard
of course. With this minimal amount of equipment, it is possible to pull in between $10 and $15 per hour. Working a
ten hour day from home, you can then pull in as much as $150 per day, or $750 per work week. For a monthly salary,
that brings in a decent $3,000 per month for you and your family. However, with data entry work from home, there is
always the risk that you are going to answer a data entry ad that is nothing more than a scam.
Typically the scam will advertise the need for someone to do data entry
and all they will ask is that you pay as little as $10 for a training packet. You pay the money online and then the
owner of the company agrees to send you a training packet. If you e-mail the company, you will get an e-mail back
advertising about how much you can make, and typically the e-mail will end in “God Bless”. This is red flag and it
needs to be something that you watch out for when you are looking for data entry work.
To aid you in your quest for legitimate data entry work from home, follow these important tips to ensure you are not taken for money
during tough economic times.
1. If you find a typing job where you
are being offered a lot of money and they do not ask that you have any experience, you should probably avoid it.
Most typing jobs do need experience, especially with typing, so don’t fall for this trap.
2. Paid surveys should be avoided if possible. More often
than not, the amount you will make is greatly over-blown, so do not expect to make anything what the ad says you
will because you most likely will not.
3. If you find a job on Guru.com or eLance.com, there is a much better chance
that the typing jobs are going to be legitimate. These data entry work from home jobs on the sites pay decently
and you are not at a risk for never being paid. These sites have plans in place to ensure that the people who
use the services get paid from the people that they work for. They do cost money to use, per month, or yearly,
but you can easily make that money back quickly with just a few projects.
4. If it seems too good to be true, then it is most
likely going to be too good to be true. This is very important to remember. If someone comes to you and says they
want you to do work for them and they will pay you five times what you would typically be paid, don’t believe them.
Why would someone pay you so much when they can get someone else to do it for much cheaper? You can be the greatest
data entry work at home individual in the world but that won’t get you big bucks. Companies and employers want to
make a profit and they do not do that by paying more than the average.
When you do data entry work from home, you should always remember that not
all jobs are going to be legitimate. You will want to research the company that is offering you work and if they
try and sell you on the opportunity more than they ask you about your credentials, they may just be tryin1g to get
your money.
